It was in 2009 that Vikram Bhatt announced his filmBhaag Johnny, however post shooting for a few days the project was shelved, with Bhatt citing creative differences with director Deepak Tijori. While on the other hand, Tijori got busy with his independent projects.
Three years on and we hear that post the success ofRaaz 3 and close to the release of 1920- Evil ReturnsVikram is all set to revive the film Bhaag Johnny with T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar.
Confirming the revival, Bhushan says, "Vikram and I want to make movies that will enthrall the audience.Bhaag Johnny is Vikram's idea that I loved and wanted to produce. It is a concept that I want to bring to the audience through Vikram's expertise."
Vikram, who is currently in London celebrating the success of Raaz 3, will be finalizing the cast and crew, albeit with a change. In fact the revived version will be directed by Prashant Chadda and will have Kunal Khemu in the lead.
